The answers below describe our photo-first estimate and provider directory as products—what they help you do, what they skip, and why they are not endorsements of any single business. Use them to prepare better calls; hiring decisions stay yours.
Most profiles are built from public listing fields plus an automated pass over each business website—we do not vet, endorse, or rank those entries by default. When a profile shows "Listing verified" or "Referral partner," MoldEstimate has run a separate verification pass; that is still not a warranty of workmanship or pricing. Check license, insurance, references, and a written scope before you sign.
Clarify what they actually do—inspection, testing, remediation, or a mix. Ask how they find and document moisture sources, what containment they use, and how they verify the job afterward. Ask about emergency response and insurance paperwork. Get at least two written quotes to compare.
Our free photo-first estimator outlines likely scope, cost ranges, and sensible next steps so you walk into calls with better questions. Directory pages add map, address, and other listing context—they do not replace your own due diligence. Referral partners, when marked, go through an extra verification step before we route any leads.
